Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace have dazzled television audiences for six series of the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing with their stunning Tango routines. Now they have created their own live show – Midnight Tango – a breathtaking evening bringing all the drama, sensuality and elegance of this most exciting of dance forms to life.
Set in a late night bar in downtown Buenos Aires and featuring some of the finest Tango dancers in the world, Midnight Tango, takes you on a journey into the heart of this intoxicating city. Raul directs Practica X, one of the most popular practicas in Buenos Aires. His tango fusions traditional milonguero style with the new tendencies. He is now touring, teaching tango workshops around Europe.

Well that’s it, the last Tuesday. From now on LimerickTango classes are on Thursdays.
There has been a tango class in Limerick every Tuesday, except the Christmas break, since we started in January 2006. There’s been some good times.

I would like to begin by thanking Adrian & Amanda for travelling to Ireland, to début in Limerick of all places. For their fantastically clear and precise teaching. For their warmth and for their elegance. I think the happy glow on the faces of the class participants said it all.

I would like to thank the class participants who put up with the 30 minute delay to allow those driving through the torrential rain make it for the start of the class.
I would like to thank those people who drove through the torrential rain when lesser souls would have given up and turned back.
I would like to thank those people who after driving to Limerick through the rain and home again on the Friday night, got up on Saturday morning and did it all again.
Specifically I would like to thank Monica, Louise and Sabina for putting on a wonderful spread. Louise again for manning the door.
