Catwalks are terrifying and that’s not just because starvation crazed models are out of their minds. Permanent catwalks are rare, probably non-existent. What exists instead are a long string of temporary rickety structures thrown up for the life of the event and not much longer. So if having to walk confidently and sexily into a large group of strangers wasn’t tough enough you have to do it down a structure you wouldn’t have confidence walking on in safety boots let alone high heels.
